Celebrating EMS Week 2026
Honoring Faith Lanzillo and the Convoy of Champions
Every day, across Massachusetts, emergency medical professionals answer the call to serve their communities. This week, during the 52nd Annual National EMS Week, LifeCare Ambulance of New England is incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own — Faith Lanzillo, our 2026 EMT of the Year.
A Leader on the Road and in the Station
A dedicated BLS Field Supervisor, Faith embodies the true spirit of emergency medical services. Known by her colleagues for her tireless work ethic, dependability, and willingness to step up in any situation, she has been instrumental in training our newest team members and mentoring them through their first months on the road. Whether she’s guiding a new EMT through their first patient interaction or stepping in to cover a shift at a moment’s notice, Faith leads by example — quietly, consistently, and with genuine compassion for both her patients and her team.
Faith’s commitment to patient care, and to the people she works alongside every shift, makes her the perfect representative for LifeCare during this important week.

Representing LifeCare at the 2026 Convoy of Champions
To honor Faith’s achievements and celebrate EMS Week, she and our Operations Manager, Taylor, represented LifeCare Ambulance at the 2026 Massachusetts Convoy of Champions — one of the most powerful traditions in Massachusetts EMS.
On May 19th, nearly 50 emergency vehicles — lights flashing and sirens sounding — paraded from Worcester to Boston MedFlight’s hangar in Bedford, escorted by the Massachusetts State Police. The convoy represents the Commonwealth’s 7,000+ EMTs, paramedics, and dispatchers who provide life-saving care to millions of residents every year. It’s a rare moment where the EMS community comes together not for a call, but simply to be recognized — and to recognize each other.
For Faith and Taylor, riding in the convoy was more than a celebration. It was a proud affirmation of LifeCare’s growing role in the region and our mission to serve the Merrimack Valley and the communities north of Boston with dignity, reliability, and compassion. As a company founded in 2021, moments like these remind our team how far we’ve come — and how much we’re building toward.
“Being part of the convoy was incredible,” said Taylor. “Seeing that many units lined up, knowing what every single crew out there has been through — it puts everything in perspective. And having Faith represent our team made it even more meaningful.”
Thank You to Every EMS Professional
As we reflect on EMS Week 2026, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Faith, Taylor, and the entire LifeCare team. And beyond our walls — to every EMT, paramedic, and dispatcher across the Commonwealth who shows up, shift after shift, for people who need them most.
Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your compassion. And thank you for your unwavering dedication to the work that makes our communities safer.
