We are genuinely grateful for every person who took the time to apply to our Summer 2026 EMT Trainee Program. The response we received exceeded our expectations — and that means something to us. It tells us that people in our community are ready to step into careers in emergency medical services.

Because of that overwhelming interest, our Summer 2026 cohort has now reached full capacity. If you submitted an application and did not receive an offer of enrollment, please know this: the decision has nothing to do with your potential. Class size is limited by clinical and instructional requirements, and every available seat has been filled.

If you were not selected for this session, your application will remain on file. Should a Winter Cohort open later this year, you will not need to reapply — we will reach out to you directly.

A Winter Cohort has not yet been confirmed. We are actively exploring the possibility, and we are committed to communicating updates as soon as they are available.

Why This Program Exists

LifeCare Ambulance was founded in 2021 with a mission to build a more accessible, community-rooted EMS workforce across Essex County, Middlesex County, and Southern New Hampshire. The EMT Trainee Program is one of the ways we are working to make a career in EMS achievable for people who might not otherwise have a clear path in.

Program Partners Developed in partnership with MassHire Merrimack Valley and A.D. Quality Training — connecting community members to credentialed EMS careers.

The level of interest in this program tells us we are on the right track. We are committed to growing this pipeline, not shrinking it.
