LifeCare Ambulance is a new and exciting EMS agency servicing the Merrimack Valley and Southern NH areas.  We will be servicing several long-term care facilities, and hospitals by providing expert level BLS care to patients in need of medical transportation.

Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day clinical operations.  This will involve scheduling, equipment and supply oversight, orientation and training, and review of patient records and documentation.  In addition, the Clinical Manager will be an additional face of the organization to represent LifeCare Ambulance in a professional manner, solidifying relationships with all customers, patients, and fellow EMS agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary role is to be a coach and mentor to fellow colleagues.  It is essential to be a role model for all team members to assure that LifeCare Ambulance delivers excellent customer service and patient care, resulting in positive results.
• Help with the creation of clinical policies and procedures.  Implement these policies through teaching and orientation.
• Ensure that all team members are trained to drive the ambulances in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the team schedule is completed and shifts are appropriately covered.
• Ensures the ambulances are being maintained and cleaned daily.
• Assist with EMS education where appropriate for the team.
• Work collaboratively with COO to ensure that all documentation has been successfully completed and entered either into MATRIS or TEMSIS to comply with state regulations.
• Maintain his/her EMT certifications.  
• Maintains up to date knowledge of EMS patient care protocols and can convey information as needed to the team. 
• Comply with all state laws and regulations.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years as an EMT.
• EMT certification in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Excellent time management skills and verbal communication skills.
